The green blue and white plaid Skirt on TuStyle magazine
Who loves Outlander like me, knows that at each fancy of plaid fabric is related an Highlands clan of Scotland.
The Tartan is therefore not only a joyful and colourful drawing or combination of paintings and lines or jus “fashion …But it’s also history, it speaks of mountains, of ancient traditions and uncontaminated nature.
A symbol of Scottish tradition, the kilt as we know it is born only in the eighteenth century. Before that, was used to the clans t under the name of Fèileadh Mòr. This was a 5 meters piece of long wool fabric , which was wrapped in life, tight with a belt, draped on the shoulders and stopped with a brooch, on which there was engraved the motto of the clan.
In 1815 the Highland Society of London asked each clan chieftain to official his own tartan; To date the classification consists of more than four thousand types of tartan registered.
Warm, romantic fabric, perfect for the cold season for that sense of protection that emanates, this week you will find it on TuStyle magazine, with our blue and green plaid skirt! Wide model, longer behind, for those who like to wear chic garments. Happy New Year Sasseneh!
